Visit SendToDropbox.com [lets you have an e-mail address which will be saved, attachments and all, in a folder on your Dropbox] and URLDroplet.com [lets you save any URL to your Dropbox - HTML files become PDF files, I think!]. Got sent a suspicious link?

Use ExpandMyURL.com to preview or to lengthen short URLs so you know where you're going with that link, preventing nasty link surprises. But, a tool won't be a useful tool until you know when to use it, or how to use it. The how to use it part just requires a little bit of English know-how, among other things you probably already have. The when to use it part - i.e., when to know if a link is suspicious or not - that's just difficult to teach, you know. I for one have never clicked any spam links. Just be smart. Is it too annoying to follow @inquirerdotnet on Twitter?

Judge for yourself using the followcost.com tool (i.e. find out what it costs to follow someone or something on Twitter). For example, @inquirerdotnet recently has nearly 200 twitter posts per day. In contrast, the more international @cnn only has no more than 7 posts per day recently. I'm unfollowing @inquirerdotnet. ASAP. You?
